Beginning October 2015, monthly luncheon meetings have been held at the Marina at Edison Ford (Pinchers) in Historic Downtown Fort Myers. Whether you are a member of another Chapter of NSSAR who is here seasonally or on vacation, or you are simply interested in learning more about the Sons of the American Revolution and the Caloosa Chapter, we would love to have you join us at a meeting. While the majority of our members reside in Lee County, other parts of Florida and at least 15 other States are represented as well.
Gatherings begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and other Chapter activities.
In observation of Washington’s birthday, at our February 2017 meeting we enjoyed a program featuring His Excellency, General George Washington and his Lady Martha—the first First Family of the United States of America.
We try to make our meetings interesting while advancing our historical, educational, and patriotic objectives.
Meetings provide an opportunity for Compatriots to join together over a meal and participate in programs sponsored by the Chapter. Often a guest speaker will present a topic of interest related to our Patriot ancestors and the Revolutionary Period, or to more contemporary issues including educational and patriotic activities in the community. Meetings also are a venue for presenting medals and awards to members and others in the community whose contributions support the mission of the Society and its patriotic, historical and educational objectives.
